A Bardstown Catholic high school is without its principal after police cited him for loitering for the purpose of prostitution.
Louisville police allegedly spotted 50-year-old Paul Schum of Louisville dressed like a woman in an alley and cited him.
Schum requested personal leave from his job at Bethlehem High School after police cited him Oct. 30.
The Archdiocese of Louisville oversees the school and says Schum denies the allegation.
He is scheduled to appear in court on November 27.
Schum teaches chemistry at Bethlehem and worked for 26 years at St. Xavier High School in Louisville.
