People in the community came together Nov. 20 to give some Warren County high schoolers a Thanksgiving meal they'll never forget.
Over a traditional turkey dinner, students at Lighthouse Academy shared Thanksgiving with their teachers.
More than 25 volunteers prepared turkey, around 40 pounds of potatoes and all the fixings for students.
Principal Mark Williams says some of the students have never had a meal like this.
"So I told the kids we don't have just 30 minutes for lunch today, we're gonna eat until you get full. And when you're full we're going to eat some more. So we're going to have a great time of fellowship today," Williams explained.
Lighthouse Academy is a high school program aimed to help students who may be behind in their classes.
