Report Shows Kentucky Progresses In Reforming Higher Education

A report released Dec. 4 shows Kentucky has progressed in reforming higher education, but more must be accomplished.

A report in the Lexington Herald-Leader says the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Report affirms the reform goals formulated in the administration of Governor Paul Patton and approved by the legislature a decade ago.

According to the published report, challenges still ahead include an overhaul of the state's student aid program to make college affordable to more people.
