Finals are officially over for the semester at WKU and for others, for good.
Dec. 15, was Western's 162nd commencement.
WKU gave degrees to 1,071 graduates the morning of Dec. 15 at Diddle Arena.
"I don't think it's hit that we're graduating," said Randi Roberts.
"Yeah, it'll probably sink in tomorrow," added her brother Will Roberts.
"Feels good to finally get it under your belt and get it done," stated Kacy O'Reilly, a WKU graduate.
About 800 students participated in the ceremony.
Jonathan "Joe" Thomas, of Russellville, was recognized as the Ogden Foundation Scholar for demonstrating exceptional academic achievement.
