An area teacher gets a big check from WBKO and Leachman Buick GMC to help her students master math.

Kim Wolfrum sponsors a program at Bristow Elementary called "Math Masters."

It encourages children to learn multiplication and division.

The students take a test and if they reach a certain score, they're given treats and their names are placed on banners in the gym.

"I think they enjoy that as much as the actual treats themselves is having their names up and people see what they accomplished," said Wolfrum.
