Children in the Warren County school system got a head start to their school year.
The 13th annual "Back to School Bash" was held earlier this morning at Hillvue Heights Church on Nashville Road.
It was a chance for children to get updated physicals, immunizations, school supplies, and even meet up with friends.
"We had a wonderful turnout today," said Kelly Jenkins with the Warren County Family Resource Center. "We had prepared for 1500 students with school supply bags, and we gave out all of those at around 11 or 11:30."
Those in charge of the event say they're very grateful to Hillvue for allowing them to use their facilities.
