The school year is over for some teens, and many are looking for summer employment.
Junior Achievement recently polled teens about their work experiences and 81 percent of those polled say they plan to work this summer. However, that number is down 4 percent from last year.
So why is there a decline?
Junior Achievement reports the sluggish economy and adults competing with teens for employment may contribute to the lower percentage.
