"Public versus Private?"
It's a question some parents are asking with all of the talks of state budget cuts in education. Currently the state has an average of about 25 students per class and with budget problems that number is expected to grow. Private schools on the other hand typically have much lower class sizes.
Several private schools in our area say enrollment is up. Although private schools have smaller classes, parents have to pay thousands of dollars a year for their child's education. Most private schools also have a religion based curriculum that some parents may not like.
