Phillip Shelton, the principal of Warren Elementary School, has been suspended following allegations that he smacked a ten-year-old student on the butt.
Those with the Warren County Schools say Shelton has been removed as principal and has not been in school since the incident was brought to their attention
Shelton is suspended with pay until the investigation complete.
