Woodring won't be WKU's Forensics Director anymore. Woodring says she is now the new Director of Marketing and Communication.
The WKU forensics team won nine national titles, seven individual event titles, and the Kentucky Forensics Association Championship every year for the past 20 years, under Woodring's leadership.
Woodring says it takes love to be a success. "To be number one," she says, "you have to have an extreme sense of dedication and a good work ethic and you have to love what you are doing and if you can love what you're doing, then everything else comes naturally and it's easier."
Jace Lux is currently the new director of WKU's forensics team. He began his duties July 1.
