The Council on Postsecondary Education has approved tuition hikes for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Kentucky State University, and Western Kentucky University.
The approval was granted at a meeting Friday in Pikeville.
Students at Kentucky State and Western will see tuition rise five percent while students at Kentucky Tech will pay an additional four percent.
The council set tuition for all other public universities in May.
