Hospital Releases Auburn Student Who Suffered from E.coli

One of two Auburn Elementary students battling E.coli has been released from the hospital.

Officials with Vanderbilt Children's Hospital say one of the girls was released on Sept. 18 and the other one remains in stable condition.

The two are Kindergarten students at Auburn Elementary.

Vanderbilt officials have confirmed the girls suffered from E.coli.

It's still not clear how they got the illness.

Health officials have encouraged vigilant handwashing to ward off any illnesses.
