This is a community effort to promote self-defense and awareness training at no charge. We want the community to be safe and we are putting our time and experience behind these lessons to give you and your family practical real life self-defense classes.
These classes are not designed to take the place of a normal martial art class. The community self-defense and awareness classes will focus on a simple technique(s) and awareness training. Valuable information will be given that could help you in a potentially violent or helpless situation. The classes are fun and free to anyone 5 and older. Kids and adults welcome. Children under the age of 18 must have parent/caregiver permission slip to attend.

Kentucky Legal Aid provides housing counseling to clients regarding foreclosures, foreclosure prevention, home purchase contracts, reverse mortgages and pre-purchase counseling.

Services are free of charge. Kentucky Legal Aid is a HUD certified counseling agency and receives funding from HUD, Neighbor Works and KHC to provide housing counseling to clients.
