Premier says it will initially hire 55 drivers, three mechanics, and six people in administration. But within a year they plan to have 100 employees at the Franklin facility.
Premier Transportation is a long-haul trucking company based in Atlanta. It is the third such company to recently locate in Franklin, due to Tractor Supply Company building a distribution center there last year.
Premier plans to redevelop two acres of land at 4981 Nashville
Road in Franklin to build its facility.
