Farm Day Gives Visitors Look at Shaker Life
Visitors to the South Union Shaker Museum found re-enactors in full Shaker costumes shucking corn, weaving blankets and stirring up a supply of apple butter.

Several area residents were given a rare glimpse into the harvest season of the late 1800's on Oct. 6.
Visitors to the South Union Shaker Museum found re-enactors in full Shaker costumes shucking corn, weaving blankets and stirring up a supply of apple butter.
It was all for Shaker Farm Day, an event created to show the preparations that the Shaker community made for the fall months.
