Bowling Green businesswoman Regina Webb receives a prestigious award.
The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and Martin Automotive Group named Webb the 2007 Athena Award Winner.
For the past 22 years, the award has been given to a local businessperson who has opened doors for women in the workplace and beyond.
"With it growing like it is, just being part of a community since 1983--it's a thrill and just amazing. It really is," Webb said.
Webb opened the Regina Webb Salon and Spa in 1999 and "Salon Today" quickly named it one of the top 200 fastest growing salons in the U.S.
She will be formally honored at the Athena Luncheon on November 15.
