Lots of people will be donning their favorite pink blouse, suit, dress, scarf or necktie on Oct. 10 to honor breast cancer awareness.
Oct. 10 is "Wear Pink to Work Day."
First Lady Glenna Fletcher is leading the push to encourage Kentuckians to focus attention on Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
The American Cancer Society estimates more than 3,000 Kentucky women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year for the first time.
620 women in Kentucky will die from this often treatable disease.
