A Bowling Green man receives a national award for his work as a code enforcement officer. David Herrman was named the 2007 Code Enforcement Officer of the Year at a conference last week.

A Bowling Green man receives a national award for his work as a code enforcement officer.
David Herrman was named the 2007 Code Enforcement Officer of the Year at a conference last week.
He was one of twelve people nationwide nominated for the award.
Herrman was picked for going beyond the normal call of duty in responding to citizens with a compassionate attitude.
Representatives from 34 states attended the conference of the American Association of Code Enforcement.
