The flap jacks were flipping high at the Boys and Girls Club on Oct. 11 for the annual "Houchens Industries Civic Club Pancake Fry."
Just $3 at the door entitled you to all the pancakes you could eat, or bowls of beans and plates full of cornbread.
One Boys and Girls Club board member bragged about all the good cooks from Houchens industries.
The event is considered one of the major fundraisers for the Boys and Girls Club.
One-hundred percent of the proceeds go to programs for the kids.
