Many people were keeping healthy by taking part in The Medical Center's 10K Classic.
The Oct. 13 events included a 5-K Run and Walk, a one and a half mile Fun Walk, the 10K Wheelchair Race and the 10-K Classic.
One of the big highlights of the race, besides finishing, was the $10,000 cash prize drawing that participants were entered in.
However, many people said they were in it just for their health.
"I'm really out here to help get in shape and come out here and enjoy the race. My company pays for it to help promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle," explained resident Will Heller.
This was the 27th year for the 10K Classic.
