Police urge you to keep your doors and windows locked And it's not because of Halloween pranksters. We have the story in this week's Crime Stoppers.
Police say it's burglars, not boogeymen striking some Bowling Green neighborhoods.
They are the suspects in the Oct. 31 "Crime of the Week."
Back in September, Crime Stoppers reported residential burglaries in the Hartland and Bent Tree subdivisions.
The burglar enters through an unlocked door, a garage door or a window and steals jewelry, wallets or purses.
To date, there have been twelve of these burglaries.
Over the past week, the burglar has entered three homes and activated an alarm, or awakened a sleeping resident.
In an early morning burglary in September, the thief fled on foot.
He ran across the Cross Winds Golf Course leaving his footprints in a sand trap.
Crime Stoppers needs your help in catching this cat burglar.
If you know anything about these home burglaries, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE, or go click here to get to their website.
You could get up to $1,0000 for your anonymous tip.
Police encourage you to lock your doors, windows and automobiles.
This burglar hasn't forced entry into any of the homes--yet.
He is going around looking for unsecured points of entry.
