There's nothing like chili and grilled cheese to get you in the mood for football, specifically Western's Homecoming game.
Close to 500 people came through the line at the 13th-annual Chili and Cheese Luncheon at First Christian Church.
Football players, cheerleaders. and even Homecoming candidates were on hand.
Junior Achievement sponsored the event to benefit their programs.
"The funds help with our business and workforce reduction," assured Heather Rogers, president of Junior Achievement.
Wendy's supplied eight huge pots of chili for the event and Country Oven Bakery provided desert.
Coach David Elson hosted a Big Red Pep Rally at noon.
The Toppers take on Troy at 4 p.m. on Nov. 10 for Homecoming.
