The Bowling Green Municipal Utilities along with Warren County Water District have announced that the water shortage advisory over Warren County has been lifted.

Bowling Green Mayor Elaine Walker and Judge Executive Mike Buchanon signed a declaration Nov. 16 lifting the ban which has been in effect since Aug. 7.

Thanks to recent rainfalls, river flows and water quality have increased significantly in recent weeks.

The lift is effective immediately.
