An area church kicks off the Christmas season with song and dance.

Right now, Rich Pond Baptist Church is rehearsing for its Christmas musical, "Two From Galilee."

"There's a big set, people have been working on that for a couple of months. We have a cast of characters who are excellent. They've been working since September on musical lines and singing," stated Jim Krutza of the Rich Pond Baptist Church.

The Broadway-style musical tells the story of Mary and Joseph, and also the birth of Jesus.

There will be three performances of "Two From Galilee" Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
