Food and wine experts gathered at the Sloan Convention Center to get a taste of some of Bowling Green's finest restaurants, and all for a good cause.
The "Taste of Bowling Green" gave visitors the opportunity to sample food and wine from area restaurants.
All proceeds will go toward the Dream Factory, which grants dreams to critically and chronically ill children.
"We are all volunteers at the chapter level, and we totally operate by donations. So we will take this money, and we will grant dreams. We grant about ten dreams a year, and dreams can range anywhere between $2500 and $5,000," explained Vicki Weaver, president of the Dream Factory of Bowling Green.
The event was sponsored by the South-Central chapter of the Kentucky Restaurant Association and live music was performed by Skip Bond and the Fugitives.
