For the past two weeks. a cruiser has been parked in front of the Kentucky State Police post in Bowling Green, for people to donate any non-perishable food items.
Now... It's time for delivery.
"We're going to be, as you can tell," said Trooper Charles Swiney, "putting boxes together, then stuffing the boxes with non-perishable food items, then delivering them either later this afternoon or tomorrow. We appreciate everybody from the Bowling Green area showing up at post and dropping off the non-perishable food items. We greatly appreciate it."
Trooper Swiney says this year they doubled last year's donations!
