Bowling Green's City Commission passed its 2007-2008 budget at a special meeting on June 28.
The meeting began at 5:00 p.m. and was over at 5:07 p.m. In those seven minutes, the commissioners unanimously passed seven items, Including next year's budget.
Commissioner Bruce Wilkerson said they made no changes from the budget that passed first reading on June 19.
The Commission had to hold a special meeting to pass a budget before this fiscal year ends on June 30.
The next commission meeting is a work session at 4:00 p.m. on July 2, followed by its regular session at 7:00 p.m.
