A southern Kentucky organization is offering help to the homeless and low-income families for the second consecutive year.
Community Connect will offer free blood pressure tests, free haircuts, and counseling from 32 vendors Thursday.
Lifeskills Incorporated in Bowling Green says last year's event focused on education and drew a crowd of about 200 people.
Supported Housing Counselor Heather Gordon says this year will likely be more hands-on.
About 32 vendors will be at Community Connect, an increase from the 20 who attended last year.
Invitations have been sent to civic leaders in the community.
