Western Kentucky University is home to the only full-service, student-run, revenue-generating advertising and public relations firm in the nation.

Its name is Imagewest, and it's celebrating winning four Markie Awards for excellence in marketing.
Imagewest won for its website, business card, television ad, and best special event.
"This semester we have 12 interns here," said PR Coordinator Kathryn Sutton, "a variety from designers to people who work on the web, to PR coordinators, to account executives. So it's just like real life. We do real life work for real life clients, and it's really exciting to gain the exposure, win awards, and show everyone that we do great work."
The Bowling Green Professional Marketing Association presents the Markie Awards every year, and Imagewest has been winning them since its inception in 2004.
