Dana Corporation plans to shut its door by December 2010.

That information comes from Dan Iacconi, Executive Director for the Glasgow-Barren County Industrial and Economic Authority.

Iacconi says he was given little reason for the close by Dana officials, even after Iacconi says city, county, and state government leaders put together incentive programs to keep the plant from closing.

The auto-parts supplier, which employs about 200 people, is already working with a realtor to sell the property.
