The store is on Campbell Lane near Bowling Green Junior High.
This new Goodwill will double the size of the current location, and will be more accessible to donors and shoppers.
The new facility will also increase employment for people with disabilities.
Those with Goodwill say the new location will help shoppers in a down economy.
"It will also provide much more shoppable items for those people who might need the lower cost that we provide," said John Wade, vice president of the western division of Goodwill. "So its going to be very helpful I think for the economy that we are dealing with."
Wade also says since the downturn of the economy, donations have gone up three-point-one percent.
