Warren Central honored the boys basketball team by giving them a "send-off" pep rally.
Students, faculty, and parents cheered as each player's name was called while they boarded the bus heading off to Lexington
Principal of Warren Central, Lisa Hood, told each player how making it to this tournament meant more than just competing to win a title.
"At this time in the community at Warren Central." Hood said, "it couldn't have come at a sweeter time and we thank you Dragons for what you have done for our school and our community."
The Dragons will tip off against East Carter High School at 11:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time Wednesday in Rupp Arena in Lexington.
Muhlenberg County takes on West Jessamine County at 11:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time Thursday in Rupp.
