Instead of having chairs in class, the students sit on fitness balls.
Bristow Elementary is one of only 300 schools nationwide, using fitness balls instead of chairs.
Teachers say the balls help students get the "wiggles" out while in class. In return, the students are more attentive.
A student and teacher both told us having the fitness balls in class is a plus.
"I like to sit on these from now on," said student Mackenzie Jaggers, "cause it's really fun for me and really fun to have exercise. Most kids don't like to exercise they're so lazy and want to sit around, so the fitness balls are really cool."
"I wasn't sure at first," said teacher Eric Chenault, "but since we've done this in my class, I think it's really helped them improve their focus ability."
Chenault also says even though having the fitness balls has been a success, there is a list of rules the students must abide by. One of the main rules is "No Large Bounces."
