Residents will have to use alternate routes if they usually travel Dye Ford Road. The road is being split off to make room for the new Natcher Interchange
"What people are going to notice on Monday," said Keirsten Jaggers with the Kentucky Highway Department,"we're going to have Dye Ford closed. This is so our guys can complete the tie-in from the old Dye Ford to the new section we have now."
Part of Dye Ford Road will turn into a cul-de-sac, while the rest will feed into Upton Road.
The completion of the entire Natcher Parkway expansion is expected to be complete in late 2011.
