The commission met in Ashland on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Christ Temple Church, and will meet Thursday in Campbellsville from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Campbellsville University Technology Training Center.

The Listening Tour Series began in January to raise Kentuckians' awareness of civil rights and equal opportunity. So far, the tour has held sessions in Cadiz, Mayfield, Richmond, Somerset, Paris, Versailles, Paducah, and Hopkinsville.

The commission is the state government agency that enforces the Kentucky Civil Rights Act, which bans discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, and financial transactions.
