Charles Napier Dies at 75
A Hollywood star from Allen County has died.

With his square jaw and big bass voice, Charles Napier became famous for playing tough-guy rolls like officers in Rambo, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and Silence of the Lambs.

But he also played the judge in Philadelphia and the leader of a country band in The Blues Brothers.

Napier was born in Mount Union near Scottsville in 1936. He was a graduate of WKU and an army veteran.

Charles Napier was 75.
