The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, will hold a job fair on Saturday, March 3 from 10 AM to 12 PM in the lobby of Bowling Green Ballpark. With the start of baseball season just one month away, the Hot Rods are looking to add outgoing, hard‐working, and friendly individuals to their gameday staff. The team is taking applications for Bat Boys, Kids Play Area Attendants, and Video Camera Operators.
“We are looking for individuals to join our team that share our passion for providing a fun and family‐oriented atmosphere at Bowling Green Ballpark for our great fans,” said Hot Rods President Brad Taylor. “This is an exciting opportunity to add to the outstanding gameday staff that has made our ballpark a great place to watch a ball game for the past three seasons.”
Those interested in the three positions are asked to bring a filled‐out application to the Job Fair, as well as their driver’s license or valid identification and Social Security card. Bat boys must be at least 16 years old. Kids Play Area attendants must be at least 18 years old and must enjoy working with children. Video Camera Operators must be 18 years old and have prior experience filming sporting events. All three positions require the ability to lift and transport items up to 50 pounds. Applicants must have a flexible schedule and an ability to work long hours, evenings, and weekends.
