"i think they're taking way too long"

Everyone has an opinion about what the government should be doing to help heal the economy.

"i feel there is a little bit of a change but it still struggles."

The Septemeber job reports is sending out mixed signals today.

"Right now it does seem to be bouncing back I have noticed quite a few more places hiring lately."

Around 100,000 jobs were added last month.

But the unemployment rate remained at a stagnant 9.1% because the boost in jobs just wasn't enough to help.
"We are still a weak economy, we are still very vulnerable."

The Septemeber jobs report is leading many to say that the country's engine is still idling in neutral.

"The hole we were in was extremely deep, this wasn't a normal recession:"

"I think that the government needs to pull back on their regulations, stop throwing money at the problems they've created and let the private sector get on with what they do best, create jobs."

"Well I feel like President Obama and the Democrats are trying their best to get something passed and help."

Jeanne Fisher believes that it will take some time for any job proposal act to pass through congress because of the upcoming elections.

"I think both groups are gonna come forward with proposals and I think both groups are gonna deny eachother those proposals because they know the 2012 election is right around the corner."

But, for those who are without a job..the wait for the economy to turn can be agonizing.

"Im gonna look at it as positive as I can and try to find employment elsewhere," said Howell, who lost his job after 24 years.
