LifeSkills Celebrates its Partners and Clients

The Ernie Small Blues Band provided the entertainment, as workers, clients, and guests enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, and soft drinks in whatever shade they could find.

It was all for the LifeSkills Annual Open House and Partners Recognition Ceremony.

Partners like Holley Performance Products, Consolidated Paper Group, and Zaxby's provide employment opportunities in their businesses, or at the LifeSkills production plant.

"Just really appreciate the support of everyone involved today," said Jan Eblen with LifeSkills, "and our partners and we would not be successful if we did not have the support of the local community. We're trying to draw all community members in, find out more about what LifeSkills does and the business opportunities that we have here and the folks we support, and letting them know that LifeSkills is a part of the community."

The companies say it's a "win, win" situation because they save money having the LifeSkills clients perform the work, and the clients gain self-esteem by getting to work and contribute to society.
