One man is thankful to be alive this morning after his car flipped on the highway.
Police say speeding, low tire tread and water from the heavy rains caused a driver to hyrdroplane on the natcher southbound.
The car landed upside down in a ditch near the morgantown exit.
"I was headed to work and hyrdoplane and come over and hit this wall and flipped," said driver, Shaun Taylor.
Police say there was a small fire, which they put out with a fire extinguisher.
No one was hurt.
