SKyPAC Executive Director Tom Tomlinson says a temporary collaboration advisory committee will be composed of members of both boards to determine what exactly that relationship should be.

Tomlinson also says it's important for both boards to take a proactive role in working together so people who wish to donate to either The Capitol or SKyPAC are comfortable with the process.

"There's no reason for ticket buyers or potential contributors or the community as a whole to look at the arts as being divisive in any kind of way," Tomlinson said.

Capitol Arts Board Chairman, Barry Williams, said, "There is a place for The Capitol and certainly there is a place for SKyPAC. It will be up to the committee to figure how these two can operate in the best manner."

Tomlinson also said SKyPAC will include The Capitol in its public relations, branding , and other communications as they work together to become a positive force in the community. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
