We're now just three days away from opening night at SKyPAC. Some folks thought this day would never come, but SKyPAC's executive director, Tom Tomlinson wasn't one of them.
"I knew we'd be here,"he said,"I didn't know we'd be here as perfectly as we are."
Starting with just an idea 12 years ago, SKyPAC is now on the brink of making history in Bowling Green.
"Opening night is a great milestone," Tomlinson said, "but it's really the first of hundreds and hundreds of opening nights. That's what to me is so interesting about theater and why I like this side of it as opposed to being an actor frankly, is because every night is an opening night. Y,know we'll have 150... 200 events a year, so we'll have a hundred-some opening nights every year, so that makes for an exciting life. It just makes every day different."
Tomorrow night we'll hear from SKyPAC President and Chairman of the Board, WBKO-TV General Manager Rick McCue, as we count down the days to SKyPAC'S opening night.
