The trash haulers requested earlier and later pickup times.
The new extended hours will begin two hours earlier, at 4:00 a.m., and end three-and-a-half hours later, at 8:30 p.m.
This means residents will now need to make sure their trash is out by 4:00 a.m. instead of the usual 6:00 a.m.
Those with the division say the roads are also less congested at those times, and will be safer for their employees.
