Scott Boord, 47, of Russellville, died June 28, 2012, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. Scott’s final days were spent surrounded by his family.
Scott was born Nov. 17, 1964, in Hammond, Ind., to Arlene (Lattin) Bodza and Judson Boord. After working as a tile setter and living in the Indiana area for many years, Scott and his wife, Kathy, realized their dream and bought a home in Russellville, moving with their three youngest children. Scott enjoyed working with his hands, scenic motorcycle rides, restoring vehicles and remodeling houses.
Scott is survived by his wife of 11 years, Kathy (Roulo) Boord; mother, Arlene (Lattin) Bodza of Hohenwald, Tenn.; father, Judson Boord of Hebron, Ind.; brother, Adam Boord and his wife, Stacy, of Merrillville, Ind.; stepson, Christopher Mencl of Lowell, Ind.; daughter, Alyshia Boord of Lowell, Ind.; son, Alford Boord and his wife, Felisha, of Hohenwald, Tenn.; daughter, Hanah Boord of Russellville; stepdaughter, Abbigail Mencl of Russellville; son, Nathaniel Boord of Russellville; and granddaughter, Kenley Boord of Hohenwald, Tenn.
Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Boord.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
