Edith Pauline Christian of Lewisburg died Aug. 16, 2012, at her residence.
The Logan County native was born March 18, 1928. She was a retired sewing machine operator from Red Kap and a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the Gideons Auxiliary. She was the daughter of the late Hark and Jessie Taylor White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyndell Christian.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Price Funeral Home Inc. in Lewisburg. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Martha Johnson of Bowling Green; son, Michael Christian of Lewisburg; sister, Jesse Hammond of Russellville; brothers, Henry David White of Lewisburg and John White of Jamestown; grandchildren, Shannon Collins of Bowling Green, Amanda Stokes and Natalie Jessup, both of Lewisburg, Kenny Johnson of Fairview, Tenn., and Ricky Johnson of Woodburn; and 11 great-grandchildren.
