Richard T. Cox, 82, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at his residence at 2:16 p.m.
He was born July 30, 1930, in Warren County and was preceded in death by his parents, Rupert Hugh and Minnie Ruth Bibb Cox; two sisters, Deane Faulkner and Ruth Cox; and three brothers, Rupert, Garland and Earl Cox.
Richard was a retired clerk from the U.S. Postal Service in Bowling Green. He was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Corine H. Cox; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, with the funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery No. 1.
