Charlotte Joy Pierce, 83, of Louisville, passed away Friday morning, Oct. 5, 2012, at Georgetown Manor Nursing Home in Louisville.
She was the daughter of the late Charles Brown and Flossie Wetherford Brown and the wife of the late Howard Pierce. Ms. Pierce was a retired switchboard operator.
She is survived by three sons, Ricky Pierce of Mammoth Cave, Ronnie Pierce of Bullitt County and Charlie Pierce of Louisville; two daughters, Janice Pierce and Donna Aubrey, both of Louisville; two sisters, Goldie Miller and Carol Colgate, both of Louisville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Charlotte Joy Pierce will be from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Sego Funeral Home, with cremation to follow.
