Elizabeth “Bette” Scott, 64, of Munfordville, passed away at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at her home in Munfordville. She was a native of Paris, Ky.
Mrs. Scott was a graduate of the Mary Baldwin College in Virginia and the University of Kentucky. She was a member of the Lexington Jr. League, the Lexington Country Club, the Lexington Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Chi Omega Sorority and the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband, Steve Scott; a son, Stuart Scott and his wife, Leigh Ann, of Munfordville; her mother, Betsy Goodman of Paris, Ky.; a brother, Jody G. Goodman and his wife, Mary, of Fairfield, Conn.; a sister, Lee G. Mercker and her husband, Ray, of Atlanta; and two grandchildren, Anna Beth Scott and Samuel Martin Scott.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Goodman.
Memorial services for Elizabeth “Bette” Scott will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Munfordville Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Suzanne Barrow officiating. In memory of Elizabeth “Bette” Scott, donations may be made to the Hart County Public Library or the Munfordville Presbyterian Church.
