Charlotte “Char” Tipton, 70, of Bowling Green, took her last breath on Earth and her first breath in Heaven on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at 6:19 p.m. in Bowling Green.
She has been reunited with her late husband of 49 years, Charles Tipton, and they are kicking up their heels together in Heaven. Charlotte is the daughter of the late Jewel Dennis Neeley and her father, who survives, Johnny Neeley of Grand Rapids, Mich. Char was retired from General Motors after more than 26 years, and after retirement she continued working as a private caretaker, providing care for numerous people. She was caring, selfless, giving, loved everyone unconditionally and touched the life of anyone she met.
She is survived by a son, John Tipton of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Dana Stover and her husband, Jeff, of Bowling Green; two sisters, Dorothy David and her husband, Scott, of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Carol Best and her husband, Rod, of Newago, Mich.; two grandchildren, Shannon Jones and her husband, Trey, of Alvaton, and Brian Watson of Bowling Green; three great-grandchildren, Madalynn Jones, Braden Michael and Kaydence Eve; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
A celebration of Char’s life will be announced at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, 5872 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104.
