Melba A. Lashley, 81, of Bowling Green, died at 6:21 a.m. Nov. 30, 2012, at his home.
The Edmonson County native was a retired deliveryman for Williams Drug Co. and a member of Mission of Life Church. He was a son of the late Elige Thomas Lashley and Belva Mae Key Lashley and the husband of the late Barbara Jean Cook Lashley.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Gravil Funeral Home, with burial in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Surviving are a son, James Lashley (Teresa) of Bowling Green; eight daughters, Brenda Stallings (Don), Marilyn Conley (Gaylon) and Sarah Duff (Tony), all of Bowling Green, Carolyn Howard (Ricky) and Joyce Wells (Dale), both of Smiths Grove, Karen Carroll (David) of Auburn and Sharon Durbin (Johnny) and Amy Wooten (Robbie), both of Cave City; three brothers, Gilbert Lashley and Jack Lashley, both of Louisville, and Don Lashley of Franklin; a sister, Janice Miller of Bowling Green; 25 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
